Charles P. Noyes was born in Connecticut in 1842, and came to St. Paul in 1868 where he engaged in the wholesale drug business. He started Noyes Bros. & Cutler, a wholesale firm which dealt with drugs and related products. Members of the firm were Charles P., Daniel R., and Winthrop G. Noyes and Edward H. Cutler.
